Dr. Fred Cope is currently the Assistant Director for Research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) and the James Cancer Hospital. Dr. Cope serves with the CICB as the Co-PI of the Administrative Core of the Center. He is the liaison between the Center and the Comprehensive Cancer Center and the James Cancer Hospital. In addition, he reviews and recommends strategies for the operation of the Center and advises the Center on fiscal matters. His background in biotechnology, intellectual property, regulatory matters, and corporate management are brought to bear in support of the CICB. He is currently managing six other large research programs in the CCC, and is conducting research
